With over 18 years of industry experience, Tarata has worked in both the Fire & General and Life & Health insurance sectors, across New Zealand and Australia.
His experience with Domestic and Commercial claims management has provided him with a strong insurance foundation, and is well‑positioned to advocate for clients, help brokers develop tailored insurance solutions, and ultimately achieve good client outcomes.
Tarata is based in the Long Burroughs Wellington Office, alongside Naomi Strickland, supporting our Wellington Fire & General Insurance Advisers, assisting with all their administrative and operational requirements, ensuring high customer service levels are met.
Tarata’s lived experiences have helped to shape his client‑centric service model and he takes pride in offering a smooth, and efficient experience for clients. Tarata is committed to continuous growth and is currently working toward achieving his Level 5 General Insurance qualification
Outside of work, Tarata is an adventurer at heart who loves to travel and explore. A proud family man who enjoys spending time with loved ones, especially supporting his nephew, who plays in the NRL for the Auckland Warriors.
